New Year, New You! Top Fashion Trends for 2013

For many of us a New Year is a chance to reinvent ourselves and try something new. Great ways to do this are by experimenting with new styles and revamping your wardrobe for the year ahead. We’ve hand-picked some of our favourite trends for 2013 to help you find the new you

Graphic PrintsBe bold! This season is all about punchy prints so ditch those light florals & choose strong geometric shapes in striking primary colours.  We recommend choosing a pair of printed trousers, complimented by a pair of block colour heels & minimal accessories to make those prints pop!

Sheen Fabrics – Shiny, iridescent pieces are must-have party wear for 2013! Edgy and futuristic, this trend was meant for making a statement. Avoid looking like a tin man by staying away from head-to-toe sheen; instead try a silver skirt with a simple dark coloured top & heels.

90s Grunge – Think Nirvana and Pearl Jam and you are onto a winner! Acid wash denim and over-sized t-shirts are making their way back this year. Express your inner teenaged angst with a pair of light denim shorts, baggy print tee and canvas trainers topped off with a leather jacket.

Swinging Sixties – The 60s are highly regarded are one of the greatest style decades so we are excited that many of their greatest hits are making a comeback this year.  Our favourites are brightly coloured shift dresses with bold “flower-power” prints. Look to Lana Del Rey for inspiration with this look – she has it down to a tee with her mega bouffant and precision-lined eyes.

Classic MonochromeBlack and white prints are timeless. Choose sharp, stripes for a modern, on-trend look. Add a flash of colour with your accessories, we suggest red shoes and belt for a dramatic finish that will turn heads.
