Greggs comes to Castle Quay!

This week, Castle Quay Shopping Centre, in Banbury, added one of the most popular bakeries to their food offer line up. The brand new Greggs shop welcomed its first customers on Thursday morning, and enjoyed a busy day of trading.


With their sandwiches and famous baked goods at almost unbeatable prices, there is no doubt shoppers have been looking forward to the shop's arrival. Castle Quay can report that there has been much anticipation regarding the opening date on social media forums such as Twitter, with shoppers eagerly questioning the opening date, and expressing their excitement about the new addition.


Located next to Mountain Warehouse on Cherwell Walk, the bakery is extremely accessible from the Cornhill and Cherwell entrances of the centre.


Commercial Manager Paul Jackson says: “The opening of Greggs has been a very exciting one for Castle Quay. Our food offer is ever growing and we can now add Greggs into our variety of eateries including M&S Café Revive, Millies Cookies and BB’s Coffee and Muffins.”


Paul continues: “The reaction we have had on Twitter to the new store opening has been fascinating, and social media is such a great way to engage with our customers and find out exactly what they are thinking, and what they want. Greggs will no doubt attract a lot of new customers and thus increase footfall through the centre, and hopefully our old customers will enjoy it just as much
