Castle Quay Puts Charity at The Heart Of The Centre

Castle Quay Shopping Centre is launching a charity foundation that aims to support fundraising for local not-for-profit organisations.

Last year the centre, which attracts more than 200,000 of shoppers each week, helped raise thousands of pounds for local groups by giving free space on the mall for fundraising activities. Now the centre is hoping that by raising awareness of its desire to work with charities, more groups will get in touch.

Paul Jackson, Commercial Manager, explained: "We already have excellent relationships with some great local charities and have seen first-hand the benefits they get from being on the mall - both financially and in awareness." Paul adds: "However, we are aware that there are some other groups out there who we don't work with and we want to hear from them, especially if they have a particular campaign or event they are keen to promote over the coming 12 months."

As an integral part of the town centre, Castle Quay Shopping Centre can really support the community - and this is one way to help. We have allocated £4,500 worth of free mall space for 2010 and set a target to help raise several thousand pounds for local causes during the coming year.

Simply complete the forms below and send them back to us or contact us with the following information:

WHY WE SHOULD HELP: as much as we'd like to, we can't promise to help everyone. The submissions will be reviewed and chosen based on availability, space and at the discretion of the Centre Management. The best submissions will be those that really understand the benefit of using our shopping centre as a platform for fund raising and awareness.

Once received, a member of our team will be in touch to check through your details. Thank you.
